I’m Danielle, a registered social worker and psychotherapist serving youth, adults and families in Ontario as they navigate through a broad range of issues related to their mental health.

Specifically, I have a passion for working with individuals who have experienced developmental and relational trauma manifesting through anxiety and depression. I have been certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy and motivational interviewing, in addition to participating in several other trauma related workshops and training. Personally, my work is grounded in a foundation of inclusivity, anti-oppression and diversity- exemplified by years of dedicated service to several AOP committees and community initiatives. My lived experience as a first-generation Caribbean-Canadian Black woman has provided me with a valuable lens of resilience and empathy through which I provide my therapeutic service.

I have a strong interest in the mind-body connection, both western and eastern philosophies, as well as mindfulness. I have practiced yoga for ten years now and love to apply creativity to meaning making.
